I first experienced apple crisp in elementary school and from the first bite I knew this dessert was something special. Throughout grade school and high school I ate this dessert at every opportunity and each time the dish tasted pretty much the same.
When I was older and left the mother's nest I sampled the dessert again while dining out at a local restaurant and the dish just didn't taste how I remembered it. So I looked around for some time until I found the recipe below that I will share with you today.

Cooking Instructions:
I like to use a combination of tart and sweet apples in my apple crisp dessert. You may also want to consider this mix as well. If you like this ideal, try 3 tart tasting Granny Smith apples and 3 Golden Delicious apples.
