Homemade Red Chili Recipe

This red chili recipe is perfect if you want to learn how to make chili.

Nothing taste better than a warm bowl of hot chili served with your favorite toppings such as cheese, crackers, peppers, onions, etc.  When winter rolls around and it gets cold outside this in one of a few chili recipes I turn to as comfort food.

A bowl of homemade chili heated to the perfect temperature feels good to my body after working outside in the yard raking up leaves or shoveling snow from the driveway.

After enjoying a bowl or two of chili I'm ready and willing to get back outside and finish the job if need be all the while knowing that chili will be waiting when I return.

Although the recipe below is a quick and easy chili recipe that uses canned beans, you can easily go all homemade if you have some extra time.

When I want chili fast I go with the recipe as written, however, when I have the time I'll prepare fresh beans to add to the recipe.
