Baked pork chops are one of my go-to meals when I want to whip up something tasty without having to stand over a stove for too long. Not only does baking them take much less time, but it also tends to bring out the natural flavor of the pork much better than frying.

Baked Pork Chops Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 cup evaporated skim milk
  • 6 center-cut pork chops, 1/2-inch thick
  • 3/4 cup cornflake crumb
  • 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp Hot 'N Spicy Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Nonstick spray coating

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Beat egg white with evaporated skim milk, in a large bowl. Place pork chops in milk mixture; let stand for 5 minutes, turning chops once.
  2. Meanwhile, mix together cornflake crumbs, bread crumbs, Hot 'N Spicy Seasoning and salt. Remove chops from milk mixture. Coat thoroughly with crumb mixture.
  3. Spray a 13x9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray coating. Place chops in pan; bake in 375-degree oven for 20 minutes. Turn chops; bake 15 minutes longer or till no pink remains.
