Dinner Suggestions and Tips

We love this combination of fried catfish, hush puppies, and coleslaw.  As icing on the cake we serve homemade peach cobbler and some cool and refreshing sweet tea.  This is the same menu items that we routinely recommend for fish fry's.

For catfish you could use catfish fillets for the whole catfish.  During fish fry's I have found that most folks prefer the whole catfish over the fillets. Be sure to have plenty of ketchup available for the fried hush puppies.

Although not listed here if you have the time you can also fry up some homemade french fries to serve along with the hush puppies and catfish. And before I forget do not, I mean, do not forget the hot sauce and tartar sauce for the fried fish.

What are you waiting on?

I've given you what you need to experience a delectable dinner this March that will tantalize any taste bud. Start your meal with fried catfish and hush puppies for a classic main course, then pair it with sides such as coleslaw for an extra crunch.

End the evening on a sweet note with a delicious desserts such as peach cobbler and wash your meal down with sweet tea.

A little helping hand never hurts.  Over time you will learn to trust your instincts and cook from the soul.  I make the most out of my kitchen time by preparing meals that feature side dishes that my family really enjoys. When you feel like venturing out give that technique a try.
