I try to buy as well as stock up on the items that are on sale, for example one of our local grocery stores had those fish crackers on sale and our grandson really loves them with his soups, they were a $1.00 a bag so we bought 10 bags. I try to do coupons although in honestly I'm not so good in that department, but I'm trying to improve on that, for you really do save money that way.
