Cheap eating

For things I use everyday like salt, flour, sugar, spices, and condiments I shop at stores like Aldi and Sav-a-lot.

Their brands for me are cheaper than NAME brands.

I always try store brands: Walmart Great Value items so far haven't disappointed me or my family they are cheaper as well.

I'm a new coupon queen.

I contact companies and ask if they have coupons available. Some do, some don't but the do's make it worthwhile.

During the summer/fall I shop our nearby outdoor farmers market towards the end of the day for cheaper prices. Farmers don't want to take stuff back home.
