If you have planned to purchase any kind of meat, buy it in bulk; i.e. buy 5-10 lbs of hamburger instead of buying 1 lb. Also, buy better qualities of meat; i.e. buy ground round instead of just plain hamburger. What little extra you spend for the ground round over the plain hamburger will more than reward you in better taste, a leaner cut of meat, & less waste overall !!
