Quick, Easy and Delicious Banana Smoothie Recipe

You've probably already read the ingredients, if that's the case its no surprise to you...the strawberries.  The strawberries taste sweet and also give the smoothie a nice reddish tint of color.

Like most commercially made smoothies, this banana fruit smoothie recipe contains a perfect blend of fruits.  The sweet strawberries truly complement the taste of the bananas making this smoothie recipe a big hit.

The bananas and skim milk combine to make this smoothie rich and creamy and apple juice is added to make this a sweet drink.

This is a smoothie that I will prepare for breakfast whenever I have bananas on hand.  That way the bananas do not go to waste.  In the past I would throw out the bananas when they got to ripe, but not anymore, I just add them to my smoothie drink.

Strawberry Banana-Smoothie Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4 strawberries
  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 1/2 cups skim milk

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Get ready to fire up the blend. But before you do, go ahead and add strawberries, banana, apple juice and then milk. Cover with lid, and blend well until mixture is smooth.
  2. Serve this health and nutritiously fresh smoothie immediately.
