Now it should come as now surprise that the original soul food restaurant hotel that opened back in 1947 as been revamped into New Pascals. Once a soul food powerhouse this restaurant has seen better times. The closing of the Castleberry Hill location has left only the Hartsfield International Airport (Pascal's Southern Delight) location open.

Despite the closing of Castleberry Hill, Pascals motto of "History, Hospitality, and Southern Cooking", exemplifies their continued commitment toward proving quality southern eats. You'll just have to go out of the way to get to Pascal's Southern Delight at Hartsfield.

Just like the original Pascals Motor and Restaurant Hotel, Pascal's Southern Delight is most noted for is tasty southern fried chicken.  However, weary soul food travelers at Hartsfield International Airport have become accustomed to other soul food menu items including:

  • Catfish
  • Collard Greens
  • Country Fried Steak
  • Meatloaf
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • And more...

If you just happen to be flying into Atlanta and feel the urge for some good southern cooking Eat at Pascal's Southern Delight. Just think, you don't even have to leave the airport to enjoy some southern cooking.

The restaurant is always packed so don't expect to be able to enjoy a sit-down meal if you are late and in a hurry to catch your connecting flight.  You could always carry your meal on the plane and eat it there.  The one time a traveled through Atlanta and ate at this restaurant I tried out the breakfast foods which a truly enjoyed.
