I learned to cook from my maternal grandmother. She retained the family recipes in her head and would instruct me every step of the way until I memorized most of the steps myself. When she died the recipes were lost. Now that I am married my strongest desire is to cook and take care of my family the way she did.
As I scanned a few of our family favorites I realized that these recipes are almost exact to what my grandmother used. I am so happy and excited about finding this wonderful recipe website! I am going to start preparing these recipes and share old memories and create new ones with my family!
