Cookware and Utensils:
As always, the key to great cooking is to be prepared and use quality ingredients.
1. How to form raspberry sauce - Defrost the frozen raspberries. Place raspberries in mixing bowl and using a spoon puree with sugar, 2 teaspoons lemon juice and raspberry liqueur. Chill before using.
2. How to peel the skin from the peaches - Next, you have to prepare the peaches for removal of the skin. Cut a small slit in the upper portion of the peach skin. Add enough water to cover the peaches in a small pot and bring to a boil. Add the peaches to the boil water for about 1 minute. Remove peaches with a slotted spoon. Rinse with cold water to stop the cooking and assist in easing the peeling.
3. Using a pairing knife and starting at the slit on the top of each peach, remove the skin from the peach. Next cut the peach in half and remove the pit. Using a brush apply the rest of the lemon juice to peaches.
4. Making the peach delight desert- Once the raspberry sauce has chilled its time to serve the dessert. Place a single large scoop of ice cream on your serving dish and top with one peach half. Pour the raspberry sauce over the top. Repeat the process for the remaining peach halves and serve immediately.
Enjoy your Peach Dessert.
