Perfectly Steamed Crab Legs
by: Jay

Want to learn how to steam crab legs? This technique will result in perfectly steamed crab legs every time.

In a steamer (or large pot), pour 3 cups of water, along with 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt. Bring water to a boil, then add thawed crab legs to the steamer basket and cover. If you're using a large pot place them in a wire rack, then cover the pot.

Once covered, you should steam your crab legs for 5 to 7 minutes. When you can smell the aroma of freshly steamed crabs they're more than likely done and ready to be removed. Be sure not to overcook the crab legs.

Remove the crab legs from your steamer or pot and serve with melted butter or cocktail sauce.

Try out this recipe and then leave me a post here letting me know whether you enjoyed this technique for steaming crab legs.
