How to Cook Liver and Onions

Its been a while since I had liver and onions. This is my favorite dish and my EX use to make is for me all the time. Since she's not in the picture anymore I thought I should try to cook it myself. GREAT chefs floating around the internet please tell me how to cook liver and onions.

Excellent Liver & Onions

My sister taught me, and I did not ;like it at all until she cooked it. Take calves liver, slice, while still frozen, into thin slices. Slice your two onions (sweet, vadalia, if in season), start with 1 stick real butter, melt and add your liver and onions, after coating with flour, salt & pepper,cook on med. high until brown, then reduce heat, cover and cook for approx. 15 mins. or so, until smell is enough, you cannot stand it any more and serve with good mashed potatoes. Killer!!!
