-----------

Yvette, so you want to know how to make southern peach cobbler?

It's funny that you should ask, seeing how today I made this very same dish for my family and friend. Not to toot my own horn but I was told it was the best they'd ever taste.

Here is the recipe I used.

1/2 stick butter (melted in baking dish)
3/4 cup self rising flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large can sliced peaches w/juice

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Combine flour and sugar into a mixing bowl and stir briefly. Next add whole milk and vanilla extract, then mix thoroughly.

3. Spread peaches into bottom of baking dish and then evenly pour over your mixture. Do not stir.

4. Bake at dish at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, in the center of your oven for 1 hour until the top of the peach cobbler is golden brown.

Remove peach cobbler from oven, allow to cool and enjoy this delicious treat.
