Grilled Chicken and Pasta

Grilled Chicken and Pasta

Just hot off the stove, this grilled chicken and pasta recipe is quick and easy to make, and taste delicious. This is a little something I usually prepare when I get home late and I'm pressed for time to quickly get something on the table good enough to eat. All you really need is a chicken breast, salt and pepper seasoning for the chicken, salsa and your favorite pasta. You'll notice from the picture of the finished dish that I used penne pasta...you can use whatever you have on hand.

Here is the chicken and pasta recipe:

Recipe Ingredients:

pasta
chicken breast
salt
pepper
salsa

Recipe Instructions:

1. Boil pasta according to package directions. Rinse cooked pasta under running hot water and drain before serving.

2. While pasta is boiling, cut the chicken breast into bite size chunks and then season with salt and pepper.

3. On your stovetop burner in a non-stick saucepan, cook and stir chicken over medium-high heat until well browned.

4. Add salsa to the saucepan of cooked chicken and allow salsa to come to a boil. Lower heat and allow to simmer for a few minutes.

To serve, add cooked pasta to a bowl and then spoon chicken and salsa mixture over the pasta. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

Serves 1 person.
