I started Atkins as a jumpstart to weight loss and the weight loss motivated me. I am still following the low carbohydrate plan and it appears to work.
I also included working out in my plan (after I began to lose weight) to work together with the weight loss. I am not sure what will happen if I ever start eating any excess carbs again, but I doubt that will happen.
I stopped just "dieting" and I actually have taken heed to my eating lifestyle. I can have carbs in moderation, but not in excess. I actually don't even miss it all.
