Best way to cook boiled pigs feet (by: Merelyn)
First bring pig feet to a boil. Boil for about five minutes and then pour off water. You will be surprised to see the foam that needs to be discarded.

Cover pig feet with fresh water. Add salt, pepper, garlic, dehydrated chopped onion, and about three bay leaves. Simmer pigs feet over medium heat until tender.

When pigs feet are tender, add some brown gray mix and cook until gravy thickens.

Next make yourself some hot water cornbread. To do so, take about two cups of self rising yellow cornbread mix and add boiling water to it until it becomes a batter, not too watery and not too thick.

Chop onions and add it to the batter if you wish. Pour mixture into hot oil. Do not turn until brown on one side. Turn and brown on the other side. Be sure to use enough oil. The family will comment on that hot water cornbread for generations to come.

This is good eating, so enjoy the meal.
