Soul Food Christmas Dinner RecipesBelow I've assembled a collection of my favorite soul food Christmas dinner recipes. These tried and true Christmastime recipes are loved by my family as well as past visitors to this site who have download these recipes and prepared them for their families as well. The advise I give anyone before deciding on a menu is to consider this, most people have grown to love and expect that certain foods be served for Christmas dinner. With that being said I recommend that you Christmas menu should at least include what your guest are most hungry for including honey baked ham, corn bread dressing, giblet gravy, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, candied yams and sweet potato pie. From this tradition soul food menu, I recommend you add a few more soul food favorites to round out your meal including: chitterlings, collard greens, deviled egg and red velvet cake. I know this seems like a lot of food and it is, but remember everyone will be expecting some leftovers.
