Quick and Easy Fried Scallops

Fried ScallopsFried Scallops

Fried scallops are the one seafood I love most, however, I don't eat them that often.  Where I live now, we are not close to the ocean, which means only on rare occasions am I able to buy fresh scallops which I most prefer.  So whenever the opportunity presents itself and I'm able to buy scallops fresh out of the sea I really get excited.

I've been known to buy up to 2 pounds of fresh scallops. The only problem is that I get greedy and after frying up the scallops I eat them all by myself. Yes, I know it's never a good idea to eat that much fried food at one sitting. However, I just can't help being greedy when you put a plate of scallops in front of me.

So a little word of advice.  If you try this recipe please eat dinner with someone else so that you can share.  That way you want find yourself eating all the scallops, like me.

Time to talk a bit about the recipe.  As you can easily see this recipe uses the simplest of ingredient, all if which minus the fresh scallops, you probably already have on hand.
