Quick and Easy Pork and Bean Salad

This pork and bean salad is a favorite bean salad recipe. Try this very creative way to turn a simple can of pork and beans into a delicious and spicy bean salad, that your family will love. Cold Pork and Bean Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 3 small can (15 ounce) of pork and beans
  • 1 small can green chilies, diced
  • 6 slices of bacon, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup, favorite barbeque sauce
  • 3 shakes hot sauce (optional)
  • garlic powder, season salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Instructions:

The pork and beans recipe is really simple.

  1. Place chopped onion and bacon into a frying pan, cook until bacon is crisp. Drain and remove ingredients from frying pan.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together all the ingredients consisting of fried bacon and onions, green chilies, cilantro, salsa, barbecue sauce, hot sauce and pork and beans. Cover bowl and chill for at least 2 hours.

Serve cold. For best results leave in refrigerator overnight.
