You'’re about to learn our recipe for barbecue pulled pork that can be served at your next family gathering or summer cookout event. This recipe is a little different than most in that you'’ll use a crock pot or slow cooker to slow cook the pork until it falls apart.  

The crock pot pulled pork recipe that follows, cooks up in 8 to 10 hours or overnight if you desire.

We recommend using boneless pork tenderloin.  

In the end the tenderloin will fall apart when it touches the tip of your tongue as you'’re enjoying a tasty bit of pulled pork.

Crock Pot Pulled Pork Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 pounds boneless pork tenderloin
  • 42 ounces barbecue sauce
  • 1 package buns

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Prep your crock pot for cooking. Add water and pork tenderloin.
  2. Adjust crock pot setting so that your pulled pork cooks for 8 to 10 hours. Cook pork for desired time, at the right temperature until the meat falls apart.
  3. Once pork is tender and falling apart, drain liquid from the crock pot, then add your favorite barbecue sauce and cook for an additional hour.

Serve your barbecue pulled pork over hot toasted buns.
