How Long Will Frozen Oxtails Keep

How long can you keep oxtails in the freezer before you use them? I have a bag that I froze about 9 months ago that got pushed to the bottom of the freezer and I was thinking of fixing oxtail stew.

If properly packaged, fresh oxtails can be stored in a freezer at zero degrees fahrenheit 0°F for up to 12 months.

Of course you can freeze oxtails directly in the orginal package, however for best result, we recommend overwrapping the orginal package with plastic wrap/aluminum foil.
