I am sooooo happy to come across your site!! I am originally from west side of Dallas,TX with eating nothing but what now is called "Soul Food" we just called it delicious. To us there just wasn't no other! That is other than Mexican food. Then when I moved to CA, boy it sure was a culture shock to me!! Seeing your sight I can now cook all the dishes my Mama used to cook for me and I used to take for granted, and never paid attention to the recipes. THANKS!!!
