Why Cooking Scallops Is Hard

I love eating fresh sea scallops whenever I go to a resturant that will prepare them. Now I want to try and cook sea scallops at home. However, I am afraid of trying it on my own and messing them up. Please help!!!

You never mentioned how you like your scallops to be prepared. Do you want to know how to fry scallops or do you really want to know how to prepare sauteed scallops on the stovetop?
