Sweet Potato Pie

My family loves this sweet potato pie, I have to make it for them every thanksgiving. It's so simple and delicious!
2 medium size sweet potatoes
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 store bought graham cracker crust pie
1/2 stick of margarine
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Farhenfeit.
Boil peeleed sweet potatoes in water until tender and able to mash easily. Drain sweet potatoes. In large mixing bowl, mash sweet potatoes, add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and egg, stir together.
Melt margarine in microwave until melted, pour into to pie crust. Add sweet potato mixture into pie crust.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Pie will be done when pierced with fork comes out clean.
Optional: Whip cream on top of pie.
