Holiday Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Please enjoy this pumpkin pie recipe

8 ounce package of cream cheese, softened
3 medium eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups cooked pumpkin
1 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 frozen, 8 or 9 inch unbaked pie shell

Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.

Mix the cream cheese, 1 egg, vanilla, and 1/4 cup of the sugar together and spread the mixture in the bottom of the unbaked pie shell. Next, mix the pumpkin, evaporated milk, the 2 remaining eggs, 1/2 cup of sugar, the spices, and the salt together in a large bowl. Pour the pumpkin mixture carefully over the cream cheese mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Pies are done when wooden toothpick inserted into center of pies comes out clean.
