Holiday Pumpkin Pie Recipe

I had to include this pumpkin pie recipe because for so many people it is a family tradition to eat this pie during Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday.  If you are going to prepare this recipe it's important that you avoid canned pumpkin.

Because there is a noticeable difference when cooking from the can, I only use fresh pumpkin when I prepare this recipe. You can use the pumpkins that are leftover from Halloween.

So if you want to make great tasting pumpkin pie it is important that you start off with a quick and easy recipe that you can duplicate, meaning your end results taste the same, time after time.

We give you this type of recipe here.  One word of caution, this will not taste like sweet potato pie, so don't expect this to be a very sweet dessert.  That said, you will still enjoy a delicious dessert treat if you prepare this recipe.
