No Raisin Bread Pudding

Hello, My name is Honi, I would really like to know how to make southern bread pudding. My mom makes it with no raisins and it is more of a cake texture and I love it that way...If you could plz tell me how to make a bread pudding that will come out like this I would greatly appreciate it!
