How long can I freeze uncooked oxtails.

I have been told that you can freeze fresh meat indefinitely just as long as your freezer maintains a constant temperature of 0°F or lower. In most cases unless you have a commercial freezer, maintaining this constant temp will be virtual impossible to do.

As a general rule, properly wrapped and air-tight packages oxtails can be frozen for 6 to 12 months.
