Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato SoupGrilled Cheese with a TwistWhen was the last time you enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich that taste like this? Probably never since the grilled cheese recipe that follows is non-traditional. Whenever I'm in the mood for grilled cheese and have a little extra time I like to go all out and use the recipe bewlow. Grilled Cheese with a TwistRecipe Ingredients: 12 slices of white or wheat bread Cooking Directions: Preheat oven to broil. Place six pieces of bread on cookie sheet. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over each slice. Top each peice of bread with another slice. Blend melted butter and garlic together and brush over the tops of each sandwich. Sprinkle tops with Parmesan and oregano or parsley. Broil until golden and flip and repeat brushing and cheese sprinkling process. Broil until golden brown. I like serving my grilled cheese with homemade tomato soup. Give it a try you just might like it too.
