Chocolate Smoothie Recipe

This chocolate smoothie recipe is definetly for Chocolate Lovers!

In addition to being sweet and delicious this smoothie recipe is packed with 12 grams of protein per serving, giving you a jolt of early morning energy or revitalizing your bodies nutrition after a grueling workout. A did I mention this is a sweet treat :)?

I must admit I'm not a real fan of chocolate, however, the wife and kid will drink this stuff up like its water.

Chocolate Mint Smoothie

4 scoops peppermint ice cream
4 tablespoons bittersweet chocolate syrup
2 drops peppermint extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups milk

In a clean blender, add ice cream, chocolate syrup, peppermint & vanill extract along with milk. Cover blener with a lid, turn on power and blend well until mixture is no longer white and has reached smoothie consistency. Like any ice cream treat this should be served immediately.

Nutritional Facts Per 16 Ounce Serving:

Calories - 420
Carbs - 70 grams
Fat - 5 grams
Protein - 12 grams
