Let me tell you a little bit more about the recipe, it's an easy and delicious pot pie recipe made from scratch using Bisquick, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, bite size chicken pieces, milk and eggs.

Don't be turned off by the Bisquick, because of this mix you are able to prepare a quick and easy but delicious chicken pot pie.  

What I like most about the recipe is the cooking time of around 30 minutes which is considerable less than the time it takes to bake a store bought frozen pot pie.

Chicken Pot Pie

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1-2/3 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup bisquick original baking mix
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 medium egg

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine mixed vegetables, chicken bites and soup. Stir throughly.
  3. Pour chicken mixture into a un-greased 9 inch pie pan.
  4. Combine bisquick mix, milk and egg in a medium bowl, mixing throughly. Spread this evenly over the top of your chicken mixture.
  5. Bake your chicken pot pie for 30 minutes until golden brown at 400 degree Fahrenheit.
