Purchase meat and fish just before the meat counter closes. The meat can't be frozen and the store wants to sell as much as they can that day.
I purchase items that I use a lot when the store has 10 for $10.00 or 15 for $20.00, sometime I can get a better deal than shopping at Costco or Sams Club.
In my area the sale paper comes out on Tuesday for that Wednesday. I search the different stores sale papers for bargins.
