What's the secret ingredient in this banana smoothie recipe?
You've probably already read the ingredients, if that's the case its no surprise to you...the strawberries. The strawberries taste sweet and also give the smoothie a nice reddish tint of color.
Like most commercially made smoothies, this banana fruit smoothie recipe contains a perfect blend of fruits. The sweet strawberries truly complement the taste of the bananas making this smoothie recipe a big hit.
The bananas and skim milk combine to make this smoothie rich and creamy and apple juice is added to make this a sweet drink.
This is a smoothie that I will prepare for breakfast whenever I have bananas on hand. That way the bananas do not go to waste. In the past I would throw out the bananas when they got to ripe, but not anymore, I just add them to my smoothie drink.
